Dr. Sripal J is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist practising in Chennai. He consults personally at both Shree Ortho Clinic locations and carries each case through the whole sequence — examination, imaging, treatment and rehabilitation — rather than handing patients between departments.
The practice covers the full orthopaedic range: planned joint replacement, trauma and fracture care, spine problems, and the sports injuries that bring in runners, gym users and weekend players.

Three things we try to get right
Diagnosis before treatment
X-ray and bone density testing are on site, so a working diagnosis usually comes out of the first visit rather than a second appointment a week later.
Surgery when it is warranted
Injections, bracing, physiotherapy and regenerative options are discussed alongside surgery, with the trade-offs stated plainly. Not every painful joint needs replacing.
Recovery is part of the treatment
Physiotherapy runs six days a week at both clinics on extended hours, because a good operation followed by no rehabilitation is a wasted operation.
